Crash Closes I-95 Detour Roads In Philadelphia

A car crash closed Philadelphia roads being used to reroute traffic due to the Interstate 95 collapse Friday morning, June 16 in Philadelphia.

The roadway had reopened at State Road and Princeton Avenue as of 10:30 a.m., officials said. Crews remained at the scene and motorists were being urged to take alternate routes (Roosevelt Boulevard).

Footage from the 6abc copter shows a sedan that downed a utility pole at State Road and Princeton Avenue just before 6 a.m.

Multiple wires were strewn across the roadway and the pole landed on the car.
